AC45 World Series
2013 On 8 August Russel Couts announced that they had found during the preparation for the Red Bull Youth America's Cup balance weights of about 2.5 kg. that were attached to the AC45 for a few races in the World Series. This affected the catamarans of Oracle Racing and Ben Ainslie. Although these weights improved the characteristics of the catamarans only very marginally, they were considered as a rule-violating. But surprising was then the decision of the International Jury, which found a sound rule violation, Oracle Racing finished with $ 250,000 fine and two minus points for the AC. That means Oracle Racing must win at least 11 for ETNZ 9 wins are still sufficient. As a consequence, these boats were withdrawn retroactively and the winning table for the Match Races was changed. The winner now is Luna Rossa
